- established in 1985 -

Our society meets on the second Wednesday of the month (February to November) at 9.30am in rooms at the Entrance Community Centre, we usually finish by noon.

Visitors & members are welcome to drop in and watch demonstrations, join talks and information sharing, as well as have time for booking of workshops, borrowing from the library, socialising and having morning tea.

Members have also been encouraged to join in the monthly painting challenge, where a painting subject is set for each month and members bring in their attempts to the next monthly meeting.

In addition, eight or nine monthly workshops are held each year, with tutors who are recognised experts in particular facets of watercolour.

Our society aims to bring together established and new artists, in a mutually-supportive and non-competitive way,  as well as exploring the potential of watercolour and associated media to be used creatively.
