Painting Challenges

Each month, members are challenged to do an art work featuring some aspect of the topic set, then bring it along to the next month’s meeting for a friendly critique.

The challenges set so far for this year are:

February – ANIMAL                March – VEGETABLE                  April – MINERAL

Introduction to Watercolour Workshops

The Society is offering a series of three classes on  Fridays 23rd Feb, 2nd Mar and 9th Mar 2018.  The classes are open to all – participants do not need to be members of the Society.

Guided Painting Holidays 2018

One of our CCWS Members Belinda Biggs conducts her own fully guided holiday trips and is taking bookings now for 2018 … for example you could be off to India or France & The Cotswolds!

Plein-Air Paint Out

A group of plein-air artists meet each Monday at different locations and have invited CCWS members & friends to come along. All levels of experience are welcome. They paint from 9am – and enjoy a BYO picnic lunch at 12 noon. For more information including the latest location program click here:

The Australian Watercolour Institute is Australia’s oldest and most prestigious watercolour society. This exhibition curated for Gosford Regional Gallery includes recent work by AWI members showcasing a diversity of styles and techniques.
